Seriously though, have you ever had the thought about making something extremely wild? Like out of this world crazy? But nothing on this planet's resources allows you to do so. Too heavy once built? Not the shape you wanted because material constraints? Well speaking of the future that may not be so far fetched. I mean we already have people experimenting with that concept right now. Imagine materials stronger than steel but less dense than water. I could finally make that futuristic battle armor I've always wanted - Alright! Jokes aside 3D printing is beginning to open that venue to a time where we me just be able to do that. German scientists have actually begun developing such material. "Ph.D Student Jens Brauer and his colleagues developed a process for 3D printing microscopic structures that are less dense than water, but stronger that steel. " Perhaps flying cars are not that far fetched for the years to come; maybe we'll finally have regular everyday clothes strong enough to both protect us from bullets and be fashionable.
